Local cabinet makers, straight answers
Cabinet makers who measure the room themselves, build or order to the drawing, and install level in houses that are not.
About Nashville's Cabinets
Nashville's Cabinets is a cabinet company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
Cabinets are sold from a catalog and installed by whoever the store sends, and the gaps at the ceiling and the doors that never align are the result. Our makers and installers measure the actual room, draw it, and set the boxes level and scribed to walls that were never square.
What we do
- Measure and draw. The installer measures, the drawing is signed off, and the order matches the room.
- Install level and scribed. Shims, a laser and a scribe to every wall; the cabinets are level even when the floor is not.
- Price by the line. Boxes, doors, hardware, installation and removal, each on the quote.
What we will not do
- Sell custom where semi-custom fits. Most kitchens are served well by a good semi-custom line, and the honest maker says so.
- Install on a bad floor without saying so. A floor out of level by an inch is flagged before the base cabinets go in.
- Skip the reveal. Fillers, panels and the gap at the ceiling are planned on the drawing, not improvised on the day.
What we actually work on
Custom and semi-custom cabinets in Nashville.
The cabinetry problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Cabinets dated but solid
- Not enough storage for the space
- Doors sagging or delaminating
- Awkward corner nothing fits
- Want built-ins that look original
- Replacing after a leak
Who does the work
Every cabinet maker and installer on our crews carries liability insurance on file with us, and the ones building custom work have shops and finished kitchens we have seen.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a cabinetry job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The cabinet makers who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No showroom photos presented as our work and no reviews on this site yet; the proof will be kitchens built here, shown as owners agree.
Where we work
Cabinet makers and installers serving Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the range runs to 65 towns in 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for cabinetry, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our cabinetry guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any cabinet maker in the region, including us.
Who we are
Michael Blair owns Nashville's Cabinets, runs it, and is the one to hold to anything written here. Pages are built from the cabinet and hardware makers’ installation guides, Tennessee code and the cabinetmaking trade’s own habits, then rewritten when those move; posts are dated and carry his byline. Licensed and insured, the makers and installers in your kitchen work to the commitments written here, and Nashville's Cabinets answers for the result.
Whoever builds your cabinets, us included: confirm their Tennessee contractor’s license through verify.tn.gov, have the insurance certificate in hand before demolition, and see who issues permits where you live on that town’s city page.
